We at American Burnish practice the classic art of gold and silver leafing on glass, wood, metal, fabric, and more. We
create one-of-a-kind and custom work for architects, interior designers, fine artists, and other clients who look to us for fresh, innovative design. Our skills in developing innovative techniques and problem-solving have been successfully applied to challenging projects ranging from outdoor sculpture to jewelry, from store interiors to edible gilded desserts.

Partners Bill Gauthier, Deborah Bigelow, and Nobuko Misawa collectively share over 40 years of experience with custom finish and restoration work for museums and private clients. The AMERICAN BURNISH team assures their clients' satisfaction from the first consultation to the finished job.
